This particular project was very difficult for me. My partners really lacked on effort or taking initiate on helping me, so I completed this project 80% on my own, juggling this with 4 other classes and 2 jobs. Needless to say, I was pushed and tested in a new way and was challenged to step outside of my comfort zone to create a video in a style I had never done before. I thought stop animation videos with a thing of the past, but it was fun testing my creative abilities to make the script and crafts for this video that would be appealing to 2nd grade students in California. I found a newly inspired passion for recycling through completing this project. I've found myself recycling more than ever before and consciously looking for the "recyclable" triangle on the bottom of all my food containers, hair product bottles, and candle jars. After looking up information about how long it takes styrofoam, plastic, and metal to decompose for this project, I have been been advocating for friends and family members to recycling products around their house as well!
