Our tool of choice was Class Dojo. I've seen this tool used in a Kindergarten classroom at Kennesaw Elementary School and the students in the class really responded well to this program. Every student is represented by a funny monster and each character can earn or lose points throughout the day based on behavior. The teacher I assisted used this program heavily! She would often say things like "If you have 2 or more points you can have extra play time at centers," or "If you have -1 or below, please give me 5 extra minutes of reading time today." So the students we're learning not only about behavior, but also math, comparisons, and incentives at a very young age. If I decide to become a teacher, I will definitely use Class Dojo in my classroom!
